What set the project apart:
- a large volume of structured content with special functionality (a database of branch offices, a discount and benefits program, a prevention fund database and more), including content published for specific regions or branches
- richly structured and formatted pages that still had to be easy for the editorial team to create and maintain.
More about the project
In fall 2019, together with our partner agency Corporate Publishing, we submitted a bid in the tender for the new websites of the Ministry of the Interior Public Health Insurance Fund. The tender covered the “Design and ongoing maintenance of the websites of ZP MV ČR and its Health as a Passion project at www.zpmvcr.cz and www.zdravijakovasen.cz”.
Our bid won and we got to work. Corporate Publishing handled the creative side of the project, while we focused mainly on the technical side. The proprietary content management system used until then was replaced with open-source Drupal 8. Over roughly four months, together with Corporate Publishing, we delivered:
- analysis of the technical specification
- analysis and design of the user interface and functionality of the new websites
- wireframes
- a new site and data structure
- visual designs
- deployment of the content management system, including custom functionality
- data migration from the old system to the new one
- implementation of the visual designs in the content management system
- detailed testing
- go-live
We also provide the hosting infrastructure, with production, testing and development servers, because we handle the ongoing development of the site based on the client’s change requests. The delivered websites:
For the same client and on the same platform, we also delivered an intranet under a separate tender.
