The Hradec Králové Region Civil Servant Portal is gaining an AI chatbot that works with the internal documentation stored on the intranet. The goal is not just “smart search” but an assistant that reads, summarizes, and cites documents in natural language.

The Ministry of the Environment administers more than a hundred agendas and hundreds of related services. Macron Software built a ministry catalog that works automatically with official government data, with no manual retyping and no risk of going out of date.

The ministry service catalog is not a parallel database alongside the central gov.cz portal. It is a presentation and integration layer on top of the official open government data, one that puts services into the context of a particular public authority.

A digital public service without vendor lock-in

Public administration usually tackles digitalization once a service has been running for years and its processes are firmly established.
Moving it to digital form then means a compromise between the historical procedure and new technology.
A new service is different. That is exactly when the process can be designed to be digital from the start, sustainable in the long term and no burden on the office in the future.
